Alaskan Secret Badass
You know the story. After a great mountain bike ride or a sweet day of skiing, one of the savory pleasures is sharing a beer, in the parking lot, with the people you ripped with during your adventure. Today was no exception. As we sit with Timeri, sharing a beer and sharing stories, you quickly realize how much Timeri is an Alaskan spirit.
Being surrounded by friends that become family. Knowing that the men around you truly think of you as an equal. Knowing you share a bound because not everyone can live this wild and wonderful Alaskan life. This is Timeri.
What do you think of when you think of an Alaskan woman? Egoless. Unassuming. Free. Natural. Untethered. She came, she kicked ass, she left. Timeri is a true Alaskan.
She’s the ying and the yang that most Alaskan women emulate. Timeri can ski a line like a man, mountain bike like a gazelle, and quilt her kids blanket to show her love + support. This is Timeri. #IAMALASKA
What does “I AM ALASKA” mean to you?
Alaska has definitely shaped me into the woman that I am today. Growing up here has made me a more confident and resilient human. It has taught me what’s really important in life. Connecting to nature, family and friends.
There’s definitely less focus on the material things here, which I am grateful for. Although, good gear is essential. I feel extremely fortunate to call Alaska my home. I’ve experienced more things in my life than most people on the planet have.
Why Alaska + what keeps you here?
My dad’s love for Alaska brought us here. I am grateful for that! Alaska’s beauty and vastness, there’s always something to do here. Alaska’s outdoor community. We have an amazing trail system here.
Favorite memory of a great day in a SWOOP product?
I always change out of my sweaty sports bra at the trail head after an adventure into a dry swoop bra. The best!Â

I love all of my bras but I can’t not mention my shorts. I’m obsessed with them.
What are you most excited about right now?
Oh gosh, I’m super excited for this entire summer! You literally never know what adventure awaits. My garden has been amazing this year. I’m excited to see all the small changes in my perennials and see the flowers I planted last summer come in.
I’m also excited to take off in our van with my new mountain bike and ride Alaska’s trails. Hoping to summit Bashful Peak this summer, weather permitting.Â
What gives you inner strength?
Honestly, just being surrounded by so many other strong women. It’s super inspiring. I’m very lucky to have so many strong ladies in my life.Â
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Raising two amazing sons and getting my BSN in nursing at 21 years old.Â
What is your next challenge?
Not getting injured on my mountain bike but still pushing my limitsÂ
